The pictures demonstrate the position. After attempting to ride to the Fish Ranch Rd log (bay area opponauts, you know), I had to ride back because I stayed on Skyline Blvd toward Berkeley instead of going up Grizzly Peak. I got distracted talking to a guy about bikes. Ended up having to go back up again (my climbing is excellent, but it takes time to get up back on the intersection) because the sun was going down. Ended up going back on Canyon, the way I came up in the first place. When I got back to Walnut Creek (city where I live), I got yelled at by a black BMW at a cross intersection. I ignored them, and then went 25 ish mph to get to the stop light. The BMW then pulled up to me and yelled again. I turned around the yell at them and flip them off if necessary. Realized it was 2 friends shouting my name. We met up at Chipotle and had a chat. By that time, it was dark. My rear bike light had gone out and the front was extremely dim.

I resorted to use my iPotato 6 as a light, at least to simulate a blinky light and hazily light up what was in front of me. On turns and the exceptionally sketchy, I held the iPhone against the outside facing rubber end of my drop bars.

(the rubber thing that is a cover of sort for STI shifters for road). I also gripped the iphone tightly while wearing fingerless bike gloves. did that for 6-9 min. Came home to find out the iPotato has a slight arch to it. What shitty design. Now to use the only useful thing, a highly abusable iPotato warranty. I need to learn how to mold carbon fiber and make adhesive "Carbon fiber strenthening x-braces". Fucking iPotato.

I'm trying to imagine the logistics of holding the phone up against the hoods while riding. I would've flat out dropped it had it been me. Hopefully you can get it replaced without too much hassle.

Hahaha. Once I was turning right at an intersection at night, and I came across some girls from school that used to be in my rez. I yelled at them and they shrugged it off, I yelled again and they gave the finger, before they realized it was me. They then profusely apologized lol.
